What a great idea to take portraits with your siblings, especially when you are incredibly sweet and sophisticated like the Nkantas! It was such a blessing to get to know these three through this photo shoot, truly a genuine and heartwarming trio! Their vision for this photo session was to create something for their parents as a surprise- how sweet is that! I felt the strong family love and connection through these siblings, each having their own unique personality and style, but embracing one another whole heartedly. Enjoy the highlights from their portrait session at National Harbor!National Harbor Family PortraitNational Harbor Family PortraitNational Harbor Family PortraitNational Harbor Family PortraitNational Harbor Family Portrait

It’s such a beautiful thing when two people I knew from long ago, from different circles of friends, different locations, end up meeting and falling in love! What a sweet reunion it was and such fun to be able to capture engagement photos for the cute couple, Gi Sun and Jun. We spent the day perusing around Washington DC, from the Smithsonian gardens to the National Portrait Gallery. They had personalized jerseys made (representing their home teams) to show their wedding date – cutest jerseys ever! At the museum, they were setting up for an event with the words, “We do” plastered everywhere. What picture perfect timing that we totally took advantage of ;). We found a hidden yet beautiful fountain to end our time and though it was freezing, we laughed the night away. Gi + Jun, we’re super excited for your wedding in June and so honored to be a part!! Congrats again!Washington DC Engagement PhotographyWashington DC Engagement Photography_0030Washington DC Engagement PhotographyWashington DC Engagement PhotographyWashington DC Engagement PhotographyWashington DC Engagement PhotographyNational Portrait Gallery Engagement PhotographyBartholdi Fountain Engagement Photography
