A strong, genuine love was captured through these magnificent fall Brookside Gardens wedding portraits.
“I knew that God had brought Josh and me together that day for a reason.”
During the summer of 2010, Jihyun and her closest family members were facing a challenging time. Her father had fallen ill, so most of her time was spent caring for him. To provide her some relief, Jihyun’s best friend Soyeon invited her out to a mutual friend’s home, although Jihyun was still very focused on her father. Jihyun and Josh met unexpectedly at this time, and their story blossomed from that day.
The two continued to talk days after they had met, and Josh even made a four-hour drive to Jihyun’s parent’s home to visit her father with flowers. Their relationship continued through the trials of college undergrad and medical school, but that did not stop them from growing. Even though Jihyun was facing a tough season in her life, Josh supported her and loved her through every moment.
Jihyun and Josh absolutely love being married! Since most of their seven-year relationship was long-distance, they are truly enjoying spending time together each day. The couple is understanding what it means to love unconditionally, keep patience, and be the best partners in God they can be. Both say they are beyond blessed with the life they have been given and look forward to many more years together!
To commemorate their beautiful love, Jihyun and Josh selected Brookside Gardens for a wedding portraits session. The leaves on the property had just begun changing for the season, which perfectly complimented the weather that day. Jihyun’s gown was stunning and was effortless to capture. The colorful backdrop of trees and the naturally peaceful venue surrounded the two as they took this time to appreciate their marriage and their new adventure ahead.
Jihyun and Josh, you two were amazing to work with, and I cannot wait to see how your story unfolds!
