With a focus on natural light, greenery, and delicate detail, Jenn and James’ Rust Manor House wedding delivered an exquisite, yet personalized experience for their guests.
Their love story began with a simple brunch date that transformed into a deep connection neither saw coming. After a year of growing in laughter and love together, the two took the leap towards forever with a surprise proposal and a breathtaking engagement session at Shenandoah Mountain.
With the desire to create a joyful, romantic, and fun event, Jenn and James set out to host their fall Rust Manor House wedding in November 2018. The event had an air of romance, elegance, and class with colors of green, white, and gold with hints of pink and orange. Each carefully planned detail embodied a timeless look with minimalistic design, greenery, and extraordinary use of colors.
The bride and groom graced their guests with elegant formal wear, perfectly complimented with seasonal floral designs. The bride’s intricate lace gown and cathedral-style veil also made for a speechless moment when her groom met her on their wedding day (a moment I will never forget!!).
Upon arrival at the venue, guests were greeted by a beautiful historical home and a charming tented reception filled with accents of gold, greenery, and personalized table settings. The couple’s focus on fashioning a fine art wedding was brought to life in a way that simply cannot be described in words! The memories, tears of joy, and laughter that were shared during this event were ones to last a lifetime.
The newlyweds are excited to see how God will shape and grow them through the hills and valleys of their journey through marriage. Jenn and James also cannot wait to build a home, start a family, have their own traditions, and host dinner parties!
Even after all of these years of wedding photography, hearing the stories of my clients never gets old, and I am honored to be even just a small piece of that story!
“I know he is my answered prayer and I am so grateful for him.”
