When a pure love meets a breathtaking view, it’s hard not to fall head over heels. Anna and Josh’s summer Springfield Manor Winery and Distillery wedding was such an unforgettable event!
We had the pleasure of meeting the couple as they celebrated their newest milestone with a winter engagement session at the Gaver Christmas Tree Farm. It seems like just yesterday that we were walking in the December breeze as we captured their precious love!
The big day began with lots of laughter and fun as Anna and her girls spent the morning being pampered and sharing stories – complete with matching dusty blue robes and refreshments! There was no denying that the groom and his friends were enjoying their morning as well while they soaked in those last few moments before the ceremony began. After exchanging their gifts, the bride and groom were off to a romantic first look.
Anna first shared a sneak peek of her bridal look with her father. As she graciously walked down the staircase, he was amazed by his daughter’s beauty – truly a sweet moment! We then moved outside to meet Josh who was anxiously awaiting his bride. When Josh turned to see Anna, it was a memory I will never forget. The look in his eyes showed the overwhelming emotion in his heart as he embraced her tightly, never letting go of their unbreakable love.
After fun portraits with the wedding party and family, we were ready for the main event. Guests were invited to an outdoor Springfield Manor Winery and Distillery wedding ceremony later that afternoon. The view behind the ceremonial arch was indescribable: luscious greenery seemed to go on forever as the outstanding landscape met the pastel blue sky. Anna and Josh incorporated traditional and religious elements into their ceremony with the ultimate goal of showcasing their grateful love for The Lord. All in attendance were deeply touched by the heartfelt words and actions of this ceremony; time seemed to stand still for just a few moments.
Guests were then invited to an indoor cocktail hour and dinner reception on the property. We were taken away by the intricate detail of this event – it was if you were walking into a bridal magazine! Upon entering the room, guests were greeted by finely decorated tables with steel blue linens, long greenery, and delicate accents. Paired with elegant signage and personalized tile place cards, the guest experience of this reception was handled with much care (there was even a lavish donut bar!). Joyous speeches, lively dancing, and delicious food made for the perfect ending to an extraordinary wedding day.
Anna and Josh headed to Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic for their sun-filled honeymoon. They are excited to start their married life by simply being together through life’s biggest moments, including going on missions trips and starting their first family home. The two also love to try new foods, hike, kayak, and play sports – I have no doubt they will soak in every moment of their journey through life together!
Anna and Josh – I’ve loved learning so much about your love story. Since the first day we met, I knew there was something special about the two of you. Thank you for allowing us to be a small part of your journey to marriage, and I cannot wait to see where life takes you next!
