University of Maryland College Park Wedding

Hannah and Jason’s love story continues as they celebrated their new adventure together through this classic University of Maryland College Park wedding.

We first met with Hannah and Jason in early 2017 to talk about their wedding plans and also where we learned all about their unique beginnings. Although their first impressions were not your typical love story, the two quickly realized they could not live without each other. To commemorate the couple taking the leap to become one, we took to the streets of Old Town Alexandria for an engagement session.

Hannah and Jason hosted a December 2017 University of Maryland College Park wedding. The day began with lots of getting ready, laughter, and beautiful candid shots. Hannah’s bridesmaids were the sweetest and carefully took after their bride! During this time, we were able to capture some of the delicate details of the wedding, such as Hannah’s elegant heels and whimsical florals. As we prepared to begin a day filled with activities, Hannah and Jason took a few moments to enjoy one another and their wonderful wedding party.

Their afternoon ceremony was held in at the University of Maryland’s Memorial Chapel, Grand Ballroom. This historical building embraced the remarkable atmosphere of the property and was the perfect setting for their high attendance. As Hannah gracefully approached the ceremonial doors, her flowing gown made a statement for all to remember. Paired with a long veil and sheer lace sleeves, Jason’s bride was a total show stopper. After the two exchanged their vows at the Chapel amongst family and friends, all were invited to enjoy a cocktail hour and reception at the University of Maryland’s Stamp Grand Ballroom.

Hannah and Jason’s afternoon reception was stunning to say the least! Charming floral design was seen amongst the venue and truly set the tone for the event. I loved how splashes of crisp gold and dusty blue accents filled the area to tie everything together! During the reception, Hannah and Jason shared an unforgettable first dance as husband and wife and spent the night celebrating with their loved ones. The event was nothing short of spectacular!

With their new marriage, Hannah and Jason planned to escape to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, for their honeymoon. Their favorite thing to do as a couple is to share tasty food with each other, especially wings, nachos, pizza, and anything fried! They are looking forward to doing life’s little moments together, including building a home, cooking together, making those tough decisions, and of course, serving one another and others faithfully. These two best friends have such a big future in store, with worship at their core, I am excited to see how God continues to use them!

Hannah and Jason, thank you for allowing me to capture your love over this last year. You two were simply meant to be, and I am honored to be a part of your wedding story!
