This Assembly Room Baltimore wedding was the definition of classic romance with a modern twist.
Sarah and Eric began their love story in their early childhood years of living in the same community. Although it wasn’t until they were much older that they realized their fondness of one another, the two spent many years connecting and growing together through various church and extra curricular activities. Sarah and Eric officially began their journey together in February 2014 and have been inseparable ever since. Eric was ready to make Sarah the love of his life and planned a surprise proposal in Orlando, Florida at Universal Studios (which Sarah of course said yes!). To celebrate their new adventure together, Sarah and Eric shared an outdoor Sandy Point Beach engagement session in April 2018.
The wedding day began with Sarah and her girls enjoying some precious moments together laughing and reminiscing at the Hotel Indigo. The details of the bride’s gown and accessories were stunning – a mauve and white bouquet paired with long ribbon, a high-neckline lace gown, delicate nude heels, and so much more. As the bridesmaids prepared their bride for her first look, Eric made the final touches on his dapper suit paired with a rich floral boutonniere.
Upon arriving at their private location, Eric waited patiently for his love as she elegantly swept the floor with her flowing gown. The second he turned to face her, it was as though time stopped. The once childhood friends were in awe of the other and quietly soaked in such an incredible moment together. After a few intimate shots, it was time to tuck the bride away for the main event.
Guests were invited to an indoor ceremony at The Assembly Room in Baltimore, Maryland. From custom mirror calligraphy to extravagant greenery, no detail of this event was missed! The end of the ceremonial aisle featured a grand, circular floral design accompanied by soft lantern lighting. Touches of modern and traditional elements were displayed throughout as a true symbol of love that Sarah and Eric mutually shared for their family and friends. Live acoustics, an exchanging of vows, and lots of emotional tears made this ceremony such a special and joyous occasion.
All in attendance moved to an indoor dinner reception on the property after the ceremony. As they entered the space, guests were greeted by exquisite table displays decorated with lush eucalyptus, candles, and miniature succulent favors. The bride and groom spent the evening enjoying delicious food and sweets, sharing unforgettable speeches, and tons of lively dancing! After months of planning, Sarah and Eric’s dream wedding came together as one of the best days of their lives.
Sarah and Eric will continue their wedding celebration with a honeymoon in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. The two are looking forward to spending their days together building the family they always dreamed of. They also love to explore new restaurants and catch up on the latest movies, so they are excited for no more “goodbyes” after their dates!
To say this wedding was a dream to capture is an understatement. Every detail and every moment was absolutely beautiful, and I am honored to have been a part of these newlywed’s love story!
